How the Region Got Its Name

AllianceTexas began with the opening of the Fort Worth Alliance Airport in 1989. The first of it's kind, the Alliance Airport is the product of a unique partnership between the visionaries at Hillwood, the City of Fort Worth, and the FAA. In 2022, the airport was renamed Perot Field Fort Worth Alliance Airport in honor of H. Ross Perot, Sr.
